But, we can see only three lions at one time because the fourth
one is hidden behind the front lion. There is a wheel below the
lion. This wheel is also in the national flag. There is a horse
standing on the left side of the wheel and a bull on its right side.
All the symbols are meaningful. The lion represents awe ,
majesty and power . The horse represents energy and speed . The
bull represents hardwork . Satyameva Jayate
Below the wheel, ‘Satyameva Jayate ’ is written, which means ‘Truth always wins ’.
The national emblem of our country is very important. It reminds us the high
ideals of Ashoka the Great. It is used only by our government. We can find our
national emblem on our currency notes , government papers , postage and
government vehicles .

National Bird : Peacock is our national bird.
National Flower : Lotus is our national flower.
